My wife did not have an appointment for real ID and she was very early to walk in, at the check in desk the lady was very kind and told her that she could wait, she would be on a waiting list but she could not guarantee anything. In the end, everything worked very well, the staff person who attended her was very nice, thank you!

Terrible. I went in to get my i.d. renwed which expires soon and was told they aren't taking walk-ins because they had too many people already. There were 5. That's it. Then I was told that I couldn't get an appointment until October. What if I needed it for a new job, or travel, or any other scenario that requires identification? The guy at the desk was very rude about it. Worste experience.

Hello again, this place deserves 0 stars with their current condition. Montana DOT/legal system, start paying your employees! I do not know where these reviewers are going, but this Licensing office is horrid. They must not pay their workers, I have been there 4 times already just to walk-in to renew my license. Been turned down every time. 0 stars.

Anytime all you know is to call them and schedule an appointment or go there they have this paperwork you will need to fill out to get you on the time-line
Probably not. But unsure
It depends if it is the first one after turning 21 Believe that is a new photo, which would need to be in person. Definitely worth a phone call or see if live chat is available M-F business hours
I don't have that number
When it's empty r no one isn't showing up for their appointment they will let u squeeze in
Yes you are going to want to make an appointment. Call mvd (motor vehicle division)
You need 2 forms of identity with you plus something with your mailing address.
You might be able to take the written part of the test as a walk in if your polite and early. Then schedule an appointment for the driving. They where scheduled out till end of November. People were great. Very nice
You can not.... you can go to AAA on Reserve Street and renew without an appointment for an additional fee.
You might be able to without a appointment. Sometimes you just have to wait for a opening but am not 100 percent sure.
twenty bucks
Birth certificate (NOT a copy), proof of residence, something with your name and SSN on it.
The best thing to do is go to the dmv over on palmer then make a appointment. I had to do that the other day...
You can now do this at AAA. Just cant do Real ID
What documents needed to renew drivers license?
Wrong business. This is driver licensing.
Go to dmv to renew, hoppe that helps. They will give you a temp till you get the orher
ID's can not be replaced. You must purchase a new one. If the person lives at the Poverello the staff can write a letter (on their letterhead) allowing the person to use that address
Yes, but they highly suggest you make an appointment. Appointments are taken first, so walk-ins must wait for gaps in appointments.
I think you can get an Identification card here. However I arrived at 830 am and was number 12. I left after 90 min and they were still on number 2. I came back at 345 pm and they were still on number 2. I called to make an appointment and they were at least 3 weeks out. Read other reviews and agree Missoula is the slowest center in MT. Would have been faster to drive to Stevensville and go to their State DL office.
No.
The examiners use a light-up machine that checks your distance vision, your peripheral vision, your depth perception, and a color test to check for color deficiencies in your eyes.
regular DL good to fly domestically until Oct 2020
MVD is issuing REAL ID starting January, 2019. They will release all the information necessary for applying for REAL ID around October, 2018.
Yes, but their online appointment systems has some bugs. Try it in different browsers.
