Traveling back to WA State from Twin Falls, Idaho and needed a quick, chill breakfast stop with a restroom. This cafe spot exceeded my expectations! The crowd was so nice and friendly and dogs were allowed! 😄 Super delicious breakfast sandwich and excellent roasted coffee that made for a super smooth espresso. Highly recommend.

Push and Pour is my favorite coffee house in the treasure valley. Their drinks are delicious, the atmosphere is fun and friendly, and they are in walking distance from the green belt. They allow dogs in the building, so often I find myself bringing my large dog with me to grab my drink, and then heading down to the green belt for a lovely walk. 10/10 would recommend.

Good coffee selection. The space is pretty limited with regards to seating. They have a small food menu. Not sure what was happening but the main area was filled with a thin smoke and I left there smelling like burnt food? Nitro cold brew was good

What’s with the mandatory 20% tip? This should be based on the service you’re getting, correct?

I think a lot of places are starting to move to the 20% mandatory tip, especially smaller business locations. It's to compensate for either poor CS skills to help the employee pay their bills so the business can keep the employee and hold the "look what I've done for you" excuse over their heads to keep them from asking for raises. Most companies do it to maintain control over their workers and make them feel like they're easily replaceable. It's also why you see a lot of "were hiring" signs, even if they aren't actively taking applications, they have a list of backups so they can easily replace you if you do choose to question that control. Either that or cuz they're small and don't have a lot of business so they need to set a minimum so the waitor/waitress gets paid something worthwhile. They probably only pay the $3.25 server minimum wage for Idaho, and "pay" them in tips to cut costs and dig into our wallets more for more cash flow 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.
