Take the Avenue of the Giants scenic detours on Highway 101. Going both north and south you will drive through the giant redwoods at a slower pace. You can take the time to enjoy the natural wonder you’re in. In some of the routes you will pass grazing pastures and see old barns. It’s worth slowing down for. Stop along the way and take a mini forest bathing walk.

I don't remember which exit exactly but there are a lot of signs along the 101. I took the 101 from Eureka to the Bay Area and though I don't remember the exact exit you should be able to see plenty. I hope this helps.
Anything will fit but you will have to drive slow and be careful of the trees
