Great walk with tons of history.

I love walking/hiking here. The trails are beautifully maintained, and I love seeing the Cypress pond.

Great little park. Needs some attention. Signs are missing

Nope not yet there are repairs to be made still after Matthew. Raven Rock you can. And repairs are very slow coming, if at all.
No, not at this time. The park is relatively new, and camping facilities aren't available. It would be a lovely place to camp.
YES. Bikes can be ridden at both accesses at Carvers Creek. The trails are relatively flat with gradual hills now and then. At the Sandhills Access, bikes yield to horse riders.
No fee. Nice trails. Damage from hurricane and forest fire needs to be fixed, but still a nice place for a hike.
You cant camp at Carvers Creek, but theres another place around here that you can. Raven Rock. The trails are quite lovely, especially when the weather's nice.
You won't be able to fish there until thr repairs to the park are finished. Could be a long time.
No not until repairs are completed and if and when the designated areas are posted
There was water along the walking path at one time but they lost a dm and that are is now drained.
It would be best to go on the NC State Park web page and ask this question there
You aren't allowed to camp here
I was told that it will take a few years to repair, but they are going to repair it.
You can't get close to it but you can see it.
They are having some issues with people not cleaning up after their dogs... families go there with young children, if anyone is going to bring their dog they should be quick to clean up after them
None of the trails are paved, neither asphalt or concrete. Some trails are access road portions that are unimproved surfaces (grated, compacted sand & dirt surface). All trails are at least 2' in width, so plenty of space to avoid branches and shrubs.
