You would think the scheduling department for Austin’s would have some patience. You can turn a patient down without sass or attitude. I can understand scheduling issues due to insurance randomly stopping or changing counties but the lack of empathy while answering a simple question is sad. Please understand being in the medical field should not take away kindness and Etiquette on a phone call.

They always take care of me and my mom no matter what Kaiser is a great medical insurance to have.
Lori Carson
Two stars for cost of care, 0 stars for patient treatment. Mom was a stroke patient for the last 12 of the 40+ years she had Kaiser. She had the same doctors for over 20 years, but they barely remembered her from one visit to the next. She broke her hip and they pinned it instead of replacing it as they had done to the other side. She never walked well again and the bone grew around the pin making her permanently wheelchair bound. They could not see her physical or mental decline the last two years and fought me at every step when I demanded they sign the orders for hospice care. When she died, they didn't even acknowledge it, and I had to cancel several appointments as Kaiser continued to call me with reminders. Out if the many people I spoke with on the phone, none had the decency to say "sorry for your loss". Terrible.

Technically yes, but it is for “acute” issues and not maintenance so if you read the fine print you will have to wait a year in between referrals. If you go once a week for a month and then say I’m good and stop, you will not be Eligible for the same area or issue for another 11 months. If it’s a new spot or issue, you can get a new referral. Covered. You pay copays.
There is a phone number at the bottom of your Kaiser Member card. If not a member you can call Member services

I think so. I'm not sure if they have stopped giving them, but do stop by & see..
The blood pressure station is located on the first floor at the atrium, next to Cosmotology. They're open 9am-2pm.
7:30 am, but they close at 5:30 pm. The pharmacy is open until 6 pm.
Call Kaiser's appointment line, ask for them to make/set up an appointment for you with the optometry department. If you don't already have a personal optometry doctor, they can also help you find one.
Yes, park by the flag pole in the east end. There are wheelchairs at the entrance and a volunteer to help.
