UPDATE ON MOST RECENT BIRTH (August 2022) 2 years 7 months after our first experience at Our Birthing Center, we came back for a second round - with zero regrets! The atmosphere and cleanliness remains beyond 5 star - it still looks brand new inside! We arrived at 11am (at 2 cm) and our little one was born at 2:58pm … we were driving home by 6pm! The progress happened quickly! The beauty of the birthing center is that YOU can set the pace of your experience and the entire team is there to support YOU! It still remains the best “home away from home” birthing experience! Sage Midwifery continues to amaze us! They are the most loving and patient team! When they enter the room, any fear that you may be feeling about the delivery, suddenly leaves! Roxie met us at the birthing center and Cindy was called in when we were closer to the delivery happening. It was such a blessing to have them both by our side for this special time. They provide the most genuine care you could ask for…attending to your needs and guiding you in some of the most difficult moments of a birth. 💜 ——— Original post from 2020: Our Birthing Center is an incredible place to birth! If anyone is wondering or desires a homelike place to birth, this place is for you! Besides the fact it is spotlessly clean, the receptionists and owner are beyond accommodating and fantastic! From beginning to end you will be well taken care of and they will feel like family. Can’t rave about them enough! Even if you are unsure how insurance will work out by birthing there, call and inquire, it is worth checking! Shout out to the founder/owner Marc and his team for smoothly running such a fantastic place! Can’t thank you all enough! Also, if your looking for a fantastic midwifery who births there, Sage Midwifery (Roxie and Cindy) are amazing! Exceptional and intimate care! Again, they become part of your family and they get to know you and your family. Wouldn’t have done birth any other way!

Giving birth at OBC was an incredible experience. All the staff were extremely caring and supportive throughout my labor and my desires and needs were consistently put first. The atmosphere was also very peaceful and having amenities such as a bluetooth speaker, bathtub, oil diffuser, and birthing ball made the experience that much better. I couldn't imagine giving birth anywhere else.

I was terrified of my decision up until the day I went into labor, BUT I am so happy that I did this and I would do it again. This was my second baby, my first being a hospital birth. I was just grateful to be left alone, not to be poked and prodded and tangled in cables and wires. It was hard but it was worth it. My recovery was so quick and easy, especially in the first few days after birth. I am so grateful for the amazing staff and the comfortable facility.

I delivered my baby here with the Midwives of NJ. I have to say it was an absolutely perfect experience. My midwives were a gift helping me go through the experience. The room was so quiet and comfortable. I highly reccomend Our Birthing Center!
