An amazing museum in a small space, but with new discoveries even after visiting for many years. And it only costs the price of parking.

Been meaning to go to this museum for some time. It's a nice, compact version of exactly what you get in larger natural history museums but conveniently without a commute out of the Sacramento area. We went for Dino Days and it was a nice event worth the admission price.

Loved it! We spent about an hour here and didn’t even finished reading it all! Almost all of the items placed were donated (the elephant and hippopotamus skulls were awesome!) Everything was beautifully places throughout from the 38 ft long whale hanging from the ceiling to the 4ft tall amethyst to the hummingbird nests!! We only paid for parking ($3) and the museum was free to check out. Definitely recommend this

@michael, it's free. No cost to the public. Run by the college.

Would this be interesting to a high school student who wants to be an astronomer?

It may be, but it's mostly tailored towards our earth's history. Paleontology, geology, and biology.
