- easy Check in and Check Out Dont worry If u arrive after 5pm. The Rangers wont be there but you have to Check in the next morning at 9am. - Campground ist near a cute River - enough toilets but unfortunately no showers - bear storage box on every Campground Warning: If you are thinking about sleeping in you car. You can do that but even in summer it get's super cold at night and the camground may not be on a levelled sufrace. It's Not that comfortable.

Yes there is swimming allowed, if you stay by loop C in the 70's campgrounds there is a rope hanging from a tree where you can swing and jump into the river! However the river is freezing. Like 50° water.
Verizon worked very well for me
No wi-fi and if you have T-MOBILE you will barely have cell phone signal. What I did was to download an offline map in Google Maps and forget about connection with the world.
No, just toilets and a sink.
I don't think they work with reservation. If I am not wrong it is on a first come first serve basis.
About half of A loop is RV Accessible. None have hookups. The sewer dump is located in Wawona off of the road by the store. Go past the barn and stables a few hundred yards.
No
All of them are standardized throughout the entire park, as well as Wawona Campground: 20.5 inches deep, 35.5 inches wide, 23 inches high.
Every campsite has its own firepit where you can burn wood or coal. At least in the C loop where we stayed. I imagine in the other loops as well.
No there is not the only water they have is in the restrooms no hose bibs
The type of camping would make a difference. The fact that Wawona (all the in-park campgrounds) have no hookups for RVs also may make a difference. Tent camping with little ones in the cold with long dark nights might not be as easy and fun as you might hope. I would suggest an RV place with hookups just outside the park as a better option for the winter with small children.
