We stopped late at night on our way thru to Myrtle Beach. Desk staff was extremely nice when checking to see if they had any open rooms late (10:30). Breakfast was very good! The guy making it was extremely nice as well making sure we were well taken care of. Only thing was the TV wouldn’t work but it wasn’t a problem for us. Definitely would recommend staying here.

We are Spire Elite IHG Members (75+ nights per year) and top tier members with Choice and Hilton as well due to my husbands travel schedule with his work. We were traveling from Florida to Columbus, OH and decided to stop around Columbia, SC because it was half way-ish. I searched the app for a hotel with a jacuzzi or whirlpool tub in room to help ease our tired bodies. I found this one which was out of the way about 20 mins. but figured it would be worth it for a long, hot, therapeutic bath. The room with the “jetted tub” was $154 vs a standard room for $115. We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman at the front desk and checked in quickly. This hotel was clean and the room was a beautiful suite with separate wet bar area and table with seating that walked around a corner to a living room area and then yet another separate area for the bed. Large picture windows on the living room and 2 bedroom walls -currently overlooking new construction next door. But there was no tub in the room like every other hotel we’ve been too with a jetted tub. It was a standard sized tub in the bathroom with 4 jets…2 of which did not work. I was very disappointed. While some hotels use descriptions like: whirlpool or jacuzzi or jetted…Every other time I’ve booked, it’s been pictured. This one was not which should have been my first clue. The front desk called to ask a question and my husband explained to him that we were disappointed with the tub and that we drove out of the way specifically for a hotel that offered this and we paid extra for the upgraded room- we typically pay for standard on the app and are upgraded when we arrive but didn’t want to run the risk of the jetted tub room being unavailable. He was apologetic and offered us a queen room at the standard rate …which we declined…he’s over 6’ and needs a king bed so his feet don’t hang off the edge. He then offered to give us that room at the standard rate which we appreciated and accepted. We arrived at 10pm and left before 8am but it would have been nice to enjoy that large room if we had the time. I did get a bath…with only two jets working but it was not the relaxing, therapeutic experience that my aching back was hoping for. The lady at checkout was extremely friendly, the breakfast was better than other Holiday Inns we’ve been too, the room was clean, and bed comfortable. Would have been five stars if the room description online had a picture and/or detailed that it was a standard tub with jets…and if the jets were all working.

Hotel is clean, non smoking room 4th floor, spacious. Hot breakfast is the best. Bed is comfortable. The warm pool is a plus. Staff is attentive. It takes 6mins to your favorite food place, Wendy's, Bojanles, KFC, and Walmart and other store TV, WIFI works good the Only Con: Old Tv.

My dad, brother and I got into an accident on the highway while driving home from vacation. We were stranded and our tow truck driver dropped us off here. We sat outside for hours trying to get arental car and a taxi to pick us up. While we waited the hotel staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They let us sit inside as long as we needed and even offered uf free drinks. We were not paying customers and did not get a room, so I can only imagine how they will treat you when you stay here!!
