Nice size and shady. Lots of benches to read or watch the cars pass by.

Great food. Enjoyed the Pork barbecue and Smoked Turkey legs. Turkey had great flavor and meat was not dry at all. Bluegrass band was great. Had an enjoyable afternoon also walking through the various small businesses that were open.

A nice place to sit and wait while my dog was in Sudsy Pup. Beautiful big trees and a lot moving around there. Enjoyed the quiet time!

So basically there is no average weather down here in Newberry. For example: Yesterday was from 60, and even some places 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Today had a low in the 30s and a high of the 50s. So if the weather starts going crazy on you, don't be surprised. Generally speaking, however, from November-December the weather starts getting cold, and at around 7:00 a.m. it could get down to 30. Usually it gets up to 60 on a good day in the afternoon. Then, surprisingly, in January the temperature stays pretty mild, 40-60. February is usually about the same, sometimes colder, and rarely warmer. In about March it starts to warm up significantly. But for some reason we get random cold spurs, and our pipes freeze and it's terrible. It seldom snows, and when it does, it's not much. And if it gets windy, things can get painfully cold. I don't know why you were asking, but hopefully my unnecessarily long response should answer any possible question that would arise pertaining to what you asked...
