There's generally a short line for to-go orders. The line is outside on the sidewalk and you wait outside for your food after you order. You can skip the line if you order online. They have wonderful sourdough bread and lots of delicious pastries. The quiche is always good. The only thing I'm not a fan of is their buttermilk bread.

All the nice things, but please bring back the dinner dine-ins!!

Amazing breakfast

My favorite bakery on the west coast. Their croissants, pastries and bread are to die for. I usually get the country loaf. Add some kerrygold Irish butter and cheddar cheese, and you'll make any ploughman jealous.

They have 3 items labeled Wheat-Free. They can't call it Glutenfree because they don't have a dedicated kitchen so there could be cross-contamination. The WF options are chocolate souffle cake, carrot cupcake, seasonal fruit muffin.
No word from owners on this yet
I'd say so. There are plenty of food and pastry options they children would enjoy. In addition with the giant ovens and adjacent tile factory it should be a fascinating one of a kind space.
Yes, reasonable amount of street parking in the surrounding blocks.
Yes they are usually available. Unless they runout.
Not any good ones I can think of. Best to Airbnb in that neighborhood.
Yes!
I remember having seen it closed for an event. Bit not sure if public can reserve or buyout.
Usually they bake bread through the day
I think it's too busy for a place to work. Always very crowded and somewhat noisy.
Unfortunately, no. However Tartine Bakery has a few outdoor tables.
Early evening street parking might be possible, but taking a cab would save you time and your sanity.
I would say no to your question about coffee and pastries. I'm assuming you're going before the lunch rush. No need to make reservations for that. My son and I had lunch there during the week last week, around 1 a clock and were seated pretty quickly, no reservation necessary. Of course the weekends are an entirely different story.
