My perfect shutters were a long time coming (supply chain issues-not their fault.) Nicole kept me apprised of the progress and they got installed today! They look perfect! Shutters are custom made to your windows’ unique dimensions, so estimating your final price is difficult until your windows are measured. Pricing is also influenced by which shutter line you choose. We carry real wood, faux wood (Polywood), stained faux wood, and reclaimed wood shutters.
A Sunburst rep will come to your house with lots of shutter and window treatment samples. Once a choice is made, the rep will take window measurements so the window treatment can be customized. Within a few weeks, they will come back to install the shutters.

Sunburst’s Polywood line of shutters includes a lifetime warranty on the craftsmanship of the shutter. Our real-wood Ovation shutters comes with a limited lifetime warranty on craftsmanship, a 5-year warranty on paint finishes, and a 2-year warranty on stain finishes.
Some of our plantation shutters, like Polywood, are made from a moisture resistant faux wood. They work well in bathrooms and basements because their louvers can stand the humidity without warping.
Real wood shutters are are made with real hardwood. Faux wood is a composite material. Our faux wood shutters are made from Polywood, which is sturdier than real wood. It won't warp, chip, or fade, and is is moisture resistant. Polywood also has a longer lifespan than vinyl or real wood.
Plantation shutters are considered one of the most kid-friendly window treatments. Window treatment cords have been tagged as one of the most dangerous hazards in the home for young children, and shutters have a tilt rod instead of cords.
