Our electric bill has drastically decreased after our solar panel system was installed by Solar Alternatives. We are looking forward to having our swimming pool heated with solar energy as well.

The solar panel system from Solar Alternatives has helped our organization achieve one of its goal of transitioning to renewable energy and having a positive impact on the the planet. When we learned about the benefits of going solar, we didn’t have second thoughts on having a solar system installed. They can even help you audit your energy consumption and make sure that you are saving monthly.

Thank you for being generous about solar information so I can get a solar upgrade and be more efficient in consuming electricity and saving on energy consumption costs.

I didn’t know that there were Tesla powerwall alternatives that we can install for our small business. I learned about a number of great products thanks to SoIar Alternatives. My system has provided us with additional savings on our utilities. I’ve had a great experience working with the Sol Alt team from day one.

Yes! We offer free estimates of our solar services.

If the whole grid goes down, would it be better to have a whole-house solar battery system or something like Generac that is gas powered?

Julia, that's a great question. During most outages, there are critical loads that need to keep operating such as lights, refrigerator, security, outlets, kitchen, etc. If these critical loads, along with possibly a small air conditioner, are enough to be backed up, then a solar battery system is a good solution. If full-home power is absolutely needed, then we recommend a high-quality natural gas or propane standby generator, such as the Kohler RES series. Generators have more maintenance cost, but are sometimes preferred. Hopefully this helps! Let us know if you'd like a home backup power survey.
