You know how when something is close to home and feels easily accessible you never really try it? That's what I did. Don't make the same mistake! It was a great, cozy, and maybe even romantic atmosphere. The service was kind and attentive. And the good was delightful! My husband said it was the best steak sandwich he ever had. My patty melt was fantastic. This is a must try!

I made reservations ahead of date, but still ended up waiting about a half hour for a table which was disappointing. I also did not get the table I requested upon making the reservation, and felt like just a number in the hostess area, which could do better in guest service. Aside from this, we had a great meal, which was a intimate birthday celebration. Food was good, service was FABULOUS, but I do wish they had more authentic Scottish dishes to pick from, as this is the entire reason I picked this restaurant, I was bringing a Scotsman to celebrate his day. I am not sure I will go back, because I picked the place for the experience, and I feel like that was lacking but I still gave 4 stars because the service was top notch and the food was good.

One of my favorite places to eat when I'm in the area! The service is always on point here. They always recommend the best drinks, like this raspberry white wine spritzer, and dishes. As much as I've tried at home, I can never replicate the crispy brussel sprouts. They are incredible!! I highly recommend any of their daily specials. You can't beat the amazing views at McWethy's Tavern. 😁
