They wouldn't take in my type-1 diabetic brother with a pump, said that his pump would be too much of a "liability."

Flexible hours for IOP and really good counselors. They will help you with EVERYTHING. This is more like a family. They offer treatment plans, one on one counseling, transitional living, and more. If you are in recovery this is where you need to be at.

Best rehab ever!!! Ok, I want to start by saying this. Every body has a right to there own opinion of places and people of those places. I totally believe in the program of AA. The way Woodlake is set up and how they choose to drill it into your head is absolutely the best way. 99% of the people that end up at rehab center is because of the amount of pain and suffering they have put family members and loved ones through has created so much pain and full of shame that they can no longer live with themselves. The lies, the drugs, the lies you told to get the drugs and just overall chaos and the path of wreckage you left in your wake. I woke up one day and I was sick and tired of the life i choose to live and drugs had made every decision for me and led me down a path of total destruction. I lost everything in one month. Home, job, car and my sanity. Woodlake is the best rehab and it's set up to help and guide u to succeed. There is one thing that you have to do when u leave Woodlake after your 28 day stay. That is to listen to what the counselors say and follow there suggetions. I've been to the Hope Center and Woodlake and Kevin James was running each place when my decisions led me to be a patient at those places. The first time I tried to beat the system and and do half of what they told me to do. I lost my sobriety within a year. 8 years later I'm checking in a Woodlake. I followed everything they told me to do. However, I choose a job that put me to work 7 days a week 90 hours a week and got lost and before I knew it I did my first Roxy. I failed a drug test and was bk out on the streets. I had only one place I knew I could go to that I could be accepted. That was my ex girlfriends house where my hards drugs had started. Now, for those people who say bad things about Kevin or Cory or Woodlake in general I say to u that you u you weren't ready and you got to be blame somebody and I bet your loaded as u discount what they are trying to accomplish as they try and show you how the program of AA does work. That place saved my life. It's designed to keep u sober and I loved it. They know exactly what they are doing. Cory a counselor at Woodlake helped me like no one has ever. Kevin I owe my life to that man. I wish someone would just come take me back there to help me get back to where I was before I relapsed. Woodlake will give u a second chance. They are hard on u for a reason. They have too!!!! I say to the people that are hooked on drugs and want to change give yourself a chance and go to inpatient and be honest with yourself. You will be glad you did!!!!
