What a treasure! Friend told me to try clam cakes. Googled best calm cakes and headed to Flo’s. It did not disappoint! Had 6 clam cakes (told golfball sized but were much bigger! lol), the cream chowda and fish sandwich. Everything was tasty, fresh and delish! Also enjoyed their frozen lemonade with blueberry vodka..addictive!! I had an 8 weeks old puppy with me this trip. Called ahead of time to check if I could bring a dog and they said that I was welcome to sit at the outside picnic tables. Seating was super comfortable with shade and view of their iconic shark.

Easy to find and parking right around the back of the restaurant. Went there on a Monday not too long of a wait. Food was served fast but since it’s all fried, lost much of the original taste. Good for bunch of guys hanging out with beers, but for families it’s need more variety besides fried food.

The lobster tastes like frozen lobster. I guess you get for what you paid. The Flo’s fisherman platter was ok. The scallops were very juicy, but there were only two of them. The calamari has no flavor at all.

I have to go to Flo's anytime I'm in the Newport area. The seafood here is to die for! My favorite is the fried clams and scallops. You'll not find any anywhere like these! Just too good! Indoor and outdoor seating, with an ocean view!

It is not byob, they have a bar upstairs and serve everything up there.

Once they get into the summer months yes but right now just Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. There is also a 2nd location in Newport RI directly across from the beach just prior to first besch that features take-out and inside dining. The Newport location also serves other items besides just seafood such as hot dogs, burgers, and steaks along with and upstairs area that features a bar plus entertainment on weekends and other days in the summer

The entrance to the parking is around the corner from Flo's. It is probably parking for about 10 cars.
You cannot unfortunately. They have a sign at the back entrance.
the lot in the back turns over quickly. if you hold on a few minutes something always seems to open up
