After a terrible experience yesterday, I had a wonderful experience here! The staff are friendly and professional! They are quick to get you back and get results rapidly. I will never go to another urgent care again.

If I could give no stars, I would. First of all, they do not have actual doctors at their urgent care. Second, I paid a $100 copay to be told, after being asked one question, that I had a bad “attitude” and that he ( the NP, Alex Englesman) didn’t HAVE to see me. I was in pain and naturally irritable, but it was more important that I be super sweet to him, than for him to just ask me questions, obtain answers, and treat me. I told him that he would be caring for me, or he’d refund my $100. He did so, grudgingly. I have NEVER been treated so badly by anyone in the Baton Rouge Clinic EVER. I will never be back. This is solely my experience with the “nurse practitioner” . The receptionist was kind and the nurse, or medical assistant, who took my vitals did an excellent job, and was kind as well.

Front desk was friendly, and service was prompt. However, Charlotte Watts NP was unprofessional and negligent. I brought my 8-month-old son in for concerns of an ear infection. We knew going into the appt that he'd had Covid for about 5 days, but I was worried about a secondary bacterial ear infection. When Ms. Watts saw on the screen that he had Covid, BEFORE EVEN EXAMINING HIM, she said "Oh momma, he doesn't have an ear infection, he just has Covid! And even if he had an ear infection, I wouldn't prescribe antibiotic because that would make the Covid worse!" (not true at all, which further makes me question her skill/understanding of medicine). To give a diagnosis before even examining a patient is preposterous. After finally examining him, she admitted his ear was red but blamed Covid and refused to give antibiotics, even as a precaution going into the night. Our son had a horrible night, crying and in pain all night. Next day we saw our regular pediatrician, who diagnosed a BILATERAL ear infection and advised we start antibiotics right away. I understand that Covid is rampant and causes lots of different health issues, but to just use that as an explain-all blanket diagnosis for a specific subset of concerns is hazardous, unprofessional, and negligent.

Just had the worst experience at this place. I checked in at around 5:20. There were no one in the waiting room. Then another lady stepped in after me. In 5 mins, she was called in. When that lady came out, I was still waiting in the waiting room. I asked the front desk lady, and she said the nurse back there “read the time wrong”. I waited another 5 mins. For the whole time, I can hear people chatting and giggling in the back. I couldn’t take it any more. So I asked for refund and walked away. To be clear, I waited for more than 30 mins in this empty waiting room. I have no idea why they treated me like that. If I could give a zero star, I would. The funniest thing is, the nurse came out while I was doing the refund. When he heard I refuse, he turned to a lady just walked in and called her in. It’s like they really don’t need to prepare anything. He didn’t realize that his stupid action just proved to me that there was some sort of thing going on there against me. Follow up, I left and went to the BR General Urgent care. There was no one in the waiting room as well. I got called in as soon as I finished the paperwork. This is what professionalism should be.
