They don’t enforce child support at all. Must be real easy to be a caseworker here because they do nothing.
Renee Stoute
7 years later they sent me a letter saying case closed because “minor child emancipated”. What the ???? My children haven’t received support for 7 years cause 7 years ago they turned 18 . Talk about a cluster f&@k! Welcome to big government .

This is absolutely ridiculous! The caseworker does not want to answer questions, so instead she says "let me call you back"....still waiting!
Nicole Thomas
Contacted my worker and she said she would provide a letter for me and I had to deal with big Kirby! She was very unprofessional, rude and need to find another job (outside of customer service). She is not knowledgeable nor do she appear to have any common sense! She will be reported to upper management because she is the first face we see upon entering and she is making the entire division look horrible.

If you have a LA.GOV account then you have a place to send messages to request a call to discuss your case.

You can do a change of address on line but you must set up an account first. The order may say $470 but if his income doesn't support the $470 they can't do anything about it. If you have any additional information to support that he can pay that amount you should send it to them and they will go from there.
If your income changed you should have contacted the office to request a reduction in support. So if you never did then the calculation is still based on your income at the time. The system is fair but they have to be informed.
You should have set up an online account and can send the information through that. They will handle it from there.
