0 out of 10. Do not recommend. Innocent till proven guilty is not a thing. COVID precautions not taken. I was deliberately exposed to someone with covid. Guards not using spaces close to inmates which poses risks. Filthy. Majority is extremely rude even when you are very polite and respectful. They seem very disgruntled in job. They lie about bail/bond. Mental health meds are not given unless you happen to be there when psych doctor is there. A Tylenol costs you $15 for single dose. If you need anything like toliet paper you will be ignored and again they are up in a booth just looking at you asking for help. I am not picky eater but the food is truly not edible. No diabetic diet given.Freezing cold concrete to sleep on. You can be denied a shower, or tooth brush. Bruises all over hands from handcuffs too tight.

All l have to say is that after 9 months of jail in here I still can't give it a zero, because that's what it and including but not limited to the St. Tammany Parish jail is. Thank you and God bless.

Waited with my mom for 3 hours just to get my brother property. The staff talks to you like you are nothing they are rude. I can only imagine being an inmate in there.

When he goes to court or to see commissioner
I needed my daughter to sign custody papers and her lawyer had to mail her the papers, once she received them, her lawyer had to facetime her and watch her sign the papers with 2 witness's with him. She then had to mail the papers back to him. There is no notary on the premises, nor will they allow one to come see an inmate to sign papers. It is a big mess and takes a good bit of time.
It depends just cal up there give them your name and tell them what do you got arrested on they will give you your doctor number and you tell him what section you're in that's how you have court or not
Yes smartjail.com or jailatm.com
Either pay $14K cash bond, or call a bail bondsman. I believe their rate is 12% in Louisiana, which is around $1,700.
The Jail does not have Qualcom. You have to go to JailATM and follow the instructions to either send emails or conduct a video visit.
Yes starting October 22, 2019
Yes, I've received calls today.
