I had a myelogram done at kemore mercy and they were great. The ladies that did the procedure were awesome they talked me through all the nerves of going through it and made me feel at home. 10 outta 10 in my book

I did my internship at Kenmore mercy for phlebotomy and loved it. I had a appendectomy in 2014 and would give 5 stars. This time I give 0 stars. I was diagnosed with supposably “cellulitis” in my eye but was having some weird things going on, numbness, pain from my head to the bottom of my spine. I had expressed this at triage to both the nurse and Pa who came out before going to the back. Proceeded to go to the back where I had blood work drawn and a urine sample and sat there for 2.5 hours only seeing the pa once. The registration spoke to me more than the PA. It was not busy whatsoever. Maybe one or two other people back there besides myself and the PA was sitting down 90% of the time. Was going to discharge me bc all of my tests came back fine. Never looked at my eye, never looked under my mask. Referred me to a neuro and sent me on my way. Luckily my eye doctor contacted me because he was so disappointed with the exam at the ER he met me and diagnosed me with shingles. Thank god he caught it since it was in my eye and was not effecting my entire body. I am extremely disappointed in the treatment here seeing as I have worked in the medical field myself for 15+ years and would’ve been embarrassed if I worked for a place that misdiagnosed something like this. Hopefully no one else is misdiagnosed or taken not seriously. The only stars I give a 5 is to not waiting long in the waiting room & the nurse who drew my blood. I will never return to this hospital. Also never verified what medications I was on & the nurse had no idea if the pain med the PA threw at me that I did not take was safe for breast feeding or not which is extremely terrifying.

If I Could Give This Hospital A Half Of Star I Would This Hospital Does Not Care About People At All I Have A Heart Condition And Was Experiencing High Blood Pressure And Really High Heart Rate They Did An EKG And Told Me To Sit And Wait In The Waiting Room Because I Wasn't Having A Heart Attack I'd Have To Wait Several Hours To Be Seen Also Security Cleared Out Everyone Who Wasn't Being Treated Which Meant My Wife Had To Wait In The Car Yet Allowed This One Chics Wife To Stay I Get There Are Protocol Because Of Covid But What Did My Wife Need To Flip Out Like Her In Order To Be In The Waiting Room With Smh Hospital Staff Is Rude And Inconsiderate Of People This Is A Terrible Way For Health Care And They should Be Ashamed Of Themselves

The only reason I’m giving 1 star is because the staff in the BACK were kind and apologetic. My first experience was in 6/2019 when I had a wicked kidney infection. They helped me but the doctor was so rude and said he never seen a patient act so dramatic with a kidney infection. Mind you, I had a 104° fever and was told I might need emergency surgery so they had to sedate me because of my anxiety. Now my experience 9/2022 the front staff working the EMERGENCY ROOM DESK + the security guards are ABHORRENT. People are writhing and screaming in pain and the security guard is talking about how the Bible allows him 10 wives!!!! I watched them have no bedside manner with anyone in actual pain. They do NOT represent the back doctors/nurses/etc at all. An elderly man whose wife was slipping in and out of consciousness was yelled at every time he tried to advocate for her and they ended up leaving after hours of waiting. I would go anywhere else but here. I DO appreciate the doctor and radiologist in the back tho even though I waited 6+ hours to be told Ibuprofen will be sent to my pharmacy 😑. I will never go there again, I’d rather perish.

No on call only
Does the hospital have an orthopaedic back surgeon
The nurse I had was awesome but the doctors were mediocre at best and terribly pompous. The wait time was horrendous (3hrs) and they prioritize age over urgency of the condition. They put me on delaudid and THEN proceeded to ask me questions when I could barely function and I had told them that I was extremely sensitive to opiates. Millard Fillmore Suburban was way better, which is a shame because Kenmore Mercy is literally right down the road from where I live and work.
What happened Megan?
