Dr. Milioto, Dr. Nightingale, Dr. Tarr, and Brandon are wonderful!! I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia since age 10, and I also struggle with costochondritis. When I first came to the WNY Pain Relief & Integrative Wellness Center, I was barely functioning. My pain was so severe, that I wasn't sleeping and could barely take care of myself. The week that I decided to start seeing Dr. Milioto, I hadn't slept more than 2 hours a night and had spent several days bedridden and in agonizing pain. After 6 weeks of care, my symptoms have been significantly reduced. I am now functioning again - no more days spent entirely in bed! Even on my bad days, the pain is manageable enough for me to get up, care for myself, and go to work. I am even sleeping 8 hours a night with minimal interruption. These might seem like simple things, but for me, this is life changing! I have so much energy that I can actually have fun again. I can go to concerts, the fair, or out to dinner with friends. I can contribute to my household and cook for my partner and I. I can go to work without the anxiety of wondering whether or not I'll make it through the day. Our goal is to address the cause of your specific condition, thus a long-term to permanent resolution is our goal. However, some patients may require periodic supportive care at an interval to be determined at the conclusion of the initial treatment protocol.
Treatment plans for some conditions require treatment at a frequency of 2 to 3 times per week for a number of weeks. Some conditions may only require 4 – 6 weeks while more chronic conditions could require 8 – 12 weeks of treatment.
