Gatto's is just fantastic Italian food. We had a large party of 11 with a few kids and our server went above and beyond his duties and was absolutely amazing. The food was fantastic and large portions! We will be back and I definitely recommend it!

First time in over a year here and very disappointed. The hostess who was Mia most of the time we were there Thursday, finally sat us at a dirty table after 5 mins of standing around waiting with no one to greet us. The unfriendly waitress took at least 10 mins to come by. It wasn’t even 6pm and they weren’t crowded. Our grilled calamari was so chewy and over cooked unlike the previous 15-20 times we’ve been here. Waitress never stopped by to even ask how it was. Their white sangria was definitely not sangria. Our dinner was ok ( not great like it always was) but the servings seemed to be half the size that they used to be. The tiramisu was good but again same price and almost half the size of before. After coming here for years we were very disappointed. I’m sure we’ll give it another shot one day but not any time soon.

I can’t say enough about the efficient staff and friendly service we experienced at Gattos. We had my daughters bridal shower there. They were very helpful and accommodating throughout the planning process. The day of the shower was exceptional. The food was delicious and the staff was the best. Thank you.

If you're in Tinley Park and are looking for some good Italian food, this will be your place. It's not a big restaurant space, but the portions they give you sure are! With the addition of their meals being both flavorful and filling, you'll definitely leave out with leftovers for the next day. If there is a drawback, it's that their appetizers are mostly seafood based. If you're allergic like I am, this is a bummer, but doesn't make it a deal breaker by any means. Give them a chance if you're in the area.
