Walked into the center with 4 young kids and my teenage sister yesterday for her appointment with Dr Rex. I wasn’t sure how the 4 of them are going to patiently wait for more than half an hour. Nurses and the doctor were incredibly kind. They greeted everyone, learned their names, talked to all of them individually, and gave everyone water and snacks. I don’t think I remember the last time I was greeted like this with my crew in any office. Thank you to the entire staff for this and for quality care. I highly recommend this medical center.

Don’t ever go to this place, they are such a joke. They mess up on covid tests they tell you that they did a PCR but instead it turned out to be an Antigen. And filling out paperwork they rush you, What a waste of time never coming back at all.

Long waits are expected sometimes even with an appointment but the place was empty. The DR Mathew Jones was just sitting in his office on the computer and seemed annoyed he even had to do the physical. Terrible etiquette

Unable to access portal, how do I get results?

They are the worse place to go get tested...my results never came out on the app. I had to go somewhere else after waiting about two weeks. Then they said if I wanted to pay for the rapid it was 195 but then I would get kicked off my health insurance. Which makes no sense at all. Everywhere you don't have to pay only there. And you get your results within 3 to 5 days. I hope they shut down. Just horrible

i have an appt at 2:15 for a rapid test for my daughter. I also have a son who may now have been exposed at school according to the nurses office. Can i get my son into the same appt slot for two tests at once?

I Have bad news. This Southington site does NOT take appts for their Covid Tests. It's an error on their app. You Will have to wait. Go their now and sign in on their computer so your name is in. You quill have to log inn with both your children's names separately. Good luck. Did not count on 2:15. I hope this helps.

Do I have to pay for Covid testing? if yes how much?

At DOCS Urgent Care No. You don't pay. If you have insurance, they pay for it. No co payment. I've had over 20 covid tests. If you do not have insurance, no you do not pay. They submit your bill to the CT Covid Act. Hope this helps.

Can I get tested for Covid -19 without an appointment?

Yes. They will have you come to check in, than come back later after booking an appointment online. When I came back they refused to give me a test because I had apparently come back too late. They told me to come back tomorrow and when I did they were closed. I've heard of other people having better experiences here but you could go to midstate medical center in Meriden. It's about 20 minutes from docs and they have a system where you drive through and don't get out of your car. Very streamlined but it will take a few days to get your results

I am traveling to CT from FL. I am having a rapid test done in FL before travel. It has been suggested that i retest once in CT. Your site says a referral is needed. Needed in my case? Thanks

I was tested with no referral on 8/10, there was a long wait though; arrived 1hr before opening, had results shortly after noon.
