Nice trails most of which can be walked in u der an hour. So these trails are great for young kids and if you let them turn some rocks or walk in the Brooks they might find some frogs, and salamanders which usually brings lots of smiles and cheerful screams. I say let them explore and learn, you whatcha from afar and don't worry to much. Worst case scenario is probably they fall down and get a scrape or they find a skunk or snake, lol. Just go with it and ha e a good time, the kids will !!!

We truly enjoyed our visit, they have a great park for both small kids and big. We walked to the pond which was so beautiful and had little turtles. Plenty of parking spots, and overall a great place to go with the kids.

I recently planned a Homeschool field trip to Ansonia Nature Center. We did a Ponding class with Ranger Evelyn. She was amazing! She is full of info and makes learning fun. She was kind and patient and you can tell she really enjoys what she does. We all had a great time and can't wait to do another trip! Thank you, Ranger Evelyn!
