Place is a dump No office no cameras Someone is always breaking into apartments or cars Their head of maintenance is allergic to everything and won't go in your apartment This is the worst part of town and a complex with no office is just even worse

We had to move here on a whim and we made do what we had to. We went through 2 property managers during our about 2 year stay there. The management was typically good with communication with any issue that we had (although I did have my moments when I felt like it could have been stronger- especially cause I made my payments on time and never gave them any issues, but that’s neither here nor there). The only reason why I (personally) would give it 4 stars is because the apartment that we stayed in the floor in the kitchen was collapsing (there were multiple spots in my kitchen that I was waiting to fall through). When I moved out, pretty much at the last minute, I was given my full deposit (minus a day, but I understood why). Rent did seem a little high, for what was available at the time (but again, we needed a place and a place is what we got). The office did try to work with me and get me into a different place, but ultimately we decided not to (personal reasons) over all towards the end of my stay there, there were some awesome remodels that were taking place. I was able to step into a new neighbors apartment and the transition was night and day! The remodels looked amazing. I can’t recall if they moved from a/c units to central a/c or not but I know that before I moved out of my apartment, they updated the windows to double panes instead of the single - which was the start of the improvements! I had always told myself that I would not live there (due to the way things were ran years ago when I was a teen - it was very unattractive) however, the neighborhood had cleared up tremendously and the police even came through the area on multiple occasions just to make sure everything was kosher. If I were ever in the predicament where I needed to move into an apartment again, I would have Sanford Estates on my list of places to call.

I am sorry that you are disappointed. We are an apartment complex that allows certain applicants with financial and credit challenges to become a tenant. Most apartment owners don't even consider allowing tenancy for those with this background. Our compromise is to help these applicants secure tenancy with us by securing a two month deposit from them rather than simply saying "No." I wish you the best in finding a home.
