I own a small cookie business and have been scooping cookies by hand for five years. I've researched cookie depositors for several of those years and have never found anything that would work with our product . . . until now. I stumbled upon Erika Record Baking Equipment while searching last year and saw a type of machine I hadn't encountered before: the Deighton Formatic. After several months we got our finances in order and received the machine. It is a dream come true! Our cookie dough is generally thick, but the Formatic makes quick work of it. I am entering my mid-thirties and don't know how many more cookies my hands could scoop before I caused permanent damage. Now those worries are far away. We love our Formatic cookie machine. Craig from sales was wonderful to work with. He arranged to have a test batch of our recipe made in their test kitchen to make sure everything with the machine went smoothly. When you're spending this much money, you want to be sure it's going to work.
