Great park for a family outing or get together with friends for birthdays or party. It has a great play area for kids, lots of Shelter's for party's and nice trail along the lake with a fantastic view. Would be visiting here again for sure.

They have paved trails that you can ride your bike on, but it's not a "mountain bike" trail. Lake Crabtree in Cary has some nice single track trails. Some of them have a lot of roots, though.

Neither Lake Benson nor White Deer Park (across the street) have baseball fields, however both have large fields which can accommodate several groups at one time. Parking is plenty and is usually located next to each field or a short walk from each field.
