Sometimes they don't look into what really is your pet's problems. My dog had covid symptoms because l had covid. The doctor said my dog is fine but she continues to sneeze and have breathing problems. I will take her to another vet for another opinion.

The service is generally very slow. When you go to check your animal in it, takes at least 15 - 20 mins being on the phone. That includes the time you are on hold. I just tried calling them several times over the last 15 mins and they are not picking up the phone. The are also always booked very far out in advance. I’m not impressed.

Dr. Taylor is OUTSTANDING. After having multiple issues with the Walnut Street location, this place has been my saving grace. Such an amazing staff and my cat receives the love and care she deserves EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

My dog is a member of our family. Her care and well being is just important to me as my children. I want her happy and comfortable. Luna is a bubbling pup with plenty of personality and energy. She came to Banfield for a routine spay procedure. There were several calls prior to our appointment to remind of us the appointment and additional directions. Upon arrival the young lady who spoke with me was so patient. She answered all my questions and clarified any follow up questions. After Luna’s surgery, I received a call from Dr. Yang who also was patient and informative with her instructions. When I picked up Luna the staff again was so kind throughout the entire process. The entire staff was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. I had no doubt that my sweet pup was well taken care of in my absence.

How much does it does it cost to fix and examine a cats leg if he or she has been limping? Is the wellness plan a must? I’d rather just pay to get my pet well and be done with it.

Wellness plan is bucket of preventive care services that are discounted and then broke down into a monthly or annual payment, and certainly not required! An office visit starts at 47.95, then the doctor will have recommendations based on the exam findings.

How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?

You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Sep 30, 2020

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
