I could see some mold in cracks in the shower and they have only one towel hook by the shower. We had 4 people in our room and one hook isn't enough. We also ran out of toilet paper and the toilet clogged and we didn't have a plunger to fix it. The block out curtains were great and the view out the window of the harbor was beautiful. There's no breakfast and few options within walking distance. We went during the week (Tuesday through Thursday) and a lot of the shops and restaurants were closed. There was a deli nearby that closed at 3 that we ate lunch at. Then we ate dinner at the Steerage which was also walking distance from the hotel. We also walked to an ice cream store that had cow benches outside. That was fun. The walk to the opening of the bay was worth it. It was fun to be able to walk to wherever we needed to go.

I've worked at Harborview and I stayed there for over 2 weeks. Last night they asked me to work for them, and they refused to pay me. They said they would give me a gift card for working for them. Do not stay here. Kathy is one of the worst people I have ever worked for. I broke both my legs and had multiple surgeries. They told me if I have to sit down I might as well just go home.

Highly recommended. I travel for business and stay exclusively at the Harbor View for many reasons, mainly because of the staff. They treat me like family and value my business. Rates are very reasonable, the location is great, right on the water and several parks. The restaurant is very good and I like the convenience. Nice amenities. Not Great boutique hotel!

Word to the wise. If it’s windy, don’t stay on the fifth floor - lots of banging. If it’s snowy, don’t stay on the street side - lots of snow plow grinding. Other than that, the location is excellent and the views can be nice.

There not one close in between best one would be the one in glendale about 10-15 min from Miller park
There is a amazing chocolate/ice cream shop right down a block from there. Also up the road is a park for kids.
