First off, I'd recommend reservations. They do take walk-ins, but still, it's a very busy restaurant for good reason. The food is absolutely phenomenal. The pasta is hand-made, and they have several different styles available with various sauces depending on the dish. Everyone in my party of 5 was delighted with their meals. And the service was top notch, from the hostess to the server, everyone was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable of the menu. I'd give this place 10 stars if I was able to.

Nice ambiance and very friendly server. Food was average or worse. My daughter's carbonara was floating in pasta water. My gnocchi was supposed to have broccoli rabe but was really broccoli and mostly stalks; the dish reminded me of chicken and dumplings the sauce was so thick. Chicken Parmesan was average. The fried olives were odd but the accompanying sauce was tasty. Cocktails were very good as were the desserts.

I came for the Linguini alla Vongole. I would definitely return. We had early evening reservations, so it was quiet. I ordered the linguini alla vongole, my favorite go-to Italian dish. It had an amazing flavor profile, the clams were so fresh and the noodles were had a creamy texture. I would hands down eat this dish again; everyone should. My husband got the Porcini Pappardelle and loved it. He got a gelato dessert with espresso poured over it and said there were so many strong flavors. He enjoyed it. The server could’ve been a little more welcoming, but other than that, I would definitely return and recommend to others. Our bill was about $130, four drinks, an appetizer, two entrees and dessert; pretty great value.

This place is amazing. No shade on Chicago's "top restaurants" this place tops them! Amazing amazing food, excellent service and prices correctly. Give them a try, you'll leave with a full stomach and an over extended smile!
