Nice place to get new comics and a good selection of older bargain comics. I enjoy visiting when I am in Spartanburg and get a chance to stop in. All kinds of neat things such as old video games and systems, Pokémon cards and collectibles. Update, still one of my favorite places to go.
Thevrex
best place like it in town, though it is also pretty much the only one

The guys were extremely nice and helpful.

I was a much bigger fan of this place back when they held Mtg events, but since COVID hit they stopped(understandable) and have just never started back up. They still sell cards though and they have other draws(coffee bar, collectibles, etc.) But for me "the thrill is gone".

We have to have some form of picture ID when we purchase items. Whoever is driving should have a license that would work. Thank you for checking!
No, we don't have Yu-Gi-Oh! singles or open play. We don't currently have in-store gaming of any kind but when we do, they are scheduled events only. Thank you for checking!
We have a few copies of the newest issue and will be getting copies of 1, 2, and 3 in next week. Thanks for checking - DC really dropped the ball on this series.
We look over things that are being offered for sale to us but we do not do free appraisals for insurance or other purposes. Insurance appraisals are very time consuming and we charge by the hour for those type things. If that is something you need, we can give more information in person and explain the process in more detail.
We carry DBZ, My Hero, One Piece, Demon Hunter, and other figures as often as we can get them. We are still low on inventory due to Christmas and slower restock, but we normally have a big selection that you can see as soon as you walk in.
It depends on what kind of figures, if they are unopened or used, and what condition they are in. If you would like to send a list or bring them by, we can try to help. Thanks!
Regular unpriced Funko Pops are $10.99 and anything special or older will have a price sticker on it.
We have D&D events scheduled almost every week and as mentioned they are very popular and stay pretty full. If you are interested in attending, I would recommend stopping by the store to see Anna and sign up for a spot. She schedules the groups for the DM’s and works basically all of the D&D stuff. She can explain how our groups run and see if she can find the right spot for you. Thank you for checking with us!
We have different MTG Tournaments every week and they are all posted on the wizards.com event locator. This weekend is Pre-Release weekend for Theros: Beyond Death.
We can try to do that if time permits. Thanks for checking!
Yes, we sell paints, primers, and miniature figures. We also have Miniature painting classes that occur frequently to help 'level up' you skills! All the information is posted to the events on our FB page. /twebcomics
We don't currently have any GW items but are about to start carrying some of their lines. We are always happy to try and order anything you might need, just let us know!
It depends on the type tournament that we are having. Most 'Standard' legal cards are from the last 2 years (unless there are some older cards that are reprinted in a newer set). Typically FNM tournaments are Standard or Modern and most cards from 2014 would NOT be legal in that environment.
We do not handle any sports cards. Thank you for checking with us!
I'm sorry, but we do not handle any cards. Thank you for checking!
I'm sorry, but we do not currently buy YuGiOh cards. Thank you for checking!
We would be glad to look at whatever you like and see what we could do. Thank you for checking with us.
These answers are correct. We have never handled baseball cards. Thank you for checking with us!
We do not currently have YuGiOh! Duels but if interest incereases, we will try and start adding them to our tournament listings. Thank you for checking and follow us on FaceBook for event details at www.facebook.com/twebcomics
Yes, we have a small selection of vintage game cartridges. We only take select titles so at any given time, there isn't a large selection but we try to keep the classics like Zelda, Mario, and Pokemon titles when we can.
As with all comics, we would have to look at them to be able to make an offer. Thank you for checking with us.
They buy a lot of different things. They specialize in golden age comics (the ones that originally cost like 0.07 cents), magic the gathering cards, GX pokemon cards, pop figures, older video games, and possibly other things. Best way to find out is ask.
I believe they have a full staff, but I am sure he would accept an application and would hire you if he thought you would be an asset to his team.
Hello! I guess the answer to your question is: ‘we buy all kinds of things, all the time.’ While we haven’t ever bought used shirts and things in the past, we are always willing to look at anything you bring. Thanks for checking and thanks to those who already answered!
They buy things they think they can sell. Take it by the store and see if they are interested. Older video games, comics depending on the age or popularity, magic cards, and a few other things are the more popular items they purchase.
They do. And they can order almost anything you want.
We have D&D every other Sunday from 1pm - 6pm. Friday from 6:30 until ? we have a group of Board Game players who meet up and play provided there is available space. Come by and see us for a visit.
They only buy magic cards.
Yes, but not a lot. They can order anything for you though.
Yes, they hold tourneys about every Friday and Saturday.
