Picked us up from airport. We were staying at hotel not even 3 miles away. Although his prices stated $14 within 3 miles from airport he tried to charge me $22. He was going well above speed limit and ran red light. I wouldn't recommend this company.

Edit: Crown Cab's response to my comment is misleading - I did contact them for a ride, they did confirm it, and they did cancel an hour before my ride was supposed to leave at 4:15am. I actually still have the voicemail from their phone number, with the caller stating Crown Cab by name, in my phone. I suspect the comment this way so anyone reading this review will think I am mistaken - don't be fooled. Zero stars - I scheduled an early morning airport ride several days in advance and called Crown Cab the day before to confirm my ride. I woke up the day of my trip to find a voicemail that the ride was cancelled. I want to support local businesses, especially those like taxi businesses that have struggled in recent years due to uber/lyft, but getting hung out to dry at 4:15am is unacceptable. Will not use this service again

Booked an airport transfer for 8.15am. Got a call at 7.30 alerting me that they didn’t have a driver. Not reliable.

That's a good question because I think if you riding and it's not going to be more than like 2 or 3 minutes or 5 minutes then I think you should let them sit there for free and give it that way because that was really more customers
Did you ever go to a restaurant on there were no tables available? We have GPS tracking on all of our vehicles... if the dispatcher told you we didn't have anyone available it was on good evidence. Glad you got your ride and hope you're having a Happy Holiday...
It's possible... You can ask the driver to wait and leave the meter running... if it's only going to be for a few minutes (Meters run at .50/ minute) or ask the driver if he/she will be available to come back at a designated time. The other option is to call the company back when you're certain you're ready and we would dispatch someone based on availability. Hope this helps
No I'm sorry we are only licensed in NC ... you would need a Company licensed where your trip begins.
We have 2 Wheelchair Taxi's... however neither of them are equipped with a lift. And currently both drivers are on break(vacation)
I would never use crown cab based on personal observations. Especially around a school. They do not observe traffic laws and are very rude.
