I wish I could rate 0 stars. She needs rehab they said. She needs inpatient rehab they said. Yes, we were very reluctant to comply but never the less we agreed and placed our mom in a rehab facility. We were already skeptical but they convinced us it was different than the typical nursing home stigma. The setup and care she would receive is totally different and would be impeccable. Well needless to say our experience was far from good and most definitely not great. I don’t think the issues start with the everyday staff, from my experience the issues stem from the administration. You have those that have the title of director and are incapable of directing a play so how can you direct staff that is responsible for others care. There is no communication nor accountability. You have the director of nursing blaming the director of therapy then you have the director of therapy blaming the director of nursing. Anchor has a lot to be desired and I strongly recommend, strongly encourage those that have loved ones there to make a presence, be a voice and share your concerns. It was very obvious from my family experience that the patient is not first priority and I stand firm on that statement. All I can say folks is if you have family, loved ones, anyone that means something to you in any type of care facility you best check in regularly, because from our experience they do the minimum and our mom is worth the most. Sorry Anchor, my expectations exceeds what you were willing to offer, thanks but no thanks we got it from here. Check in on your peeps is all I can say.

I am a patient of this place so I have 1st hand knowledge. The CNA are abusing the patient. In neglect and verbal abuse. They have 3 rd party subs and 2 of them walked out leaving 1 CNA with 31 patients. Since I was not mentally incapacitated I fought back. I am a full time pastor and I would not put my dog thru this mess. You see my dinner meals in the pics. The LPN were somewhat better. My insurance put me because I had been in hospital. For 5 months B Warning if you hold your ground they will threaten to send you to another rehab that is worst. After 5 pm it changes so come check on your family after 5 pmI survived on Door dash for food. Also they stole my food out of fridge twice. The only way I got out was because my neck surgery was infected so bad I had 2 surgeries to clean it out. Love your family members check behind them.

I was a dedicated agency employee at anchor facility, working there 2 years and 2 months. I was told not to come there anymore from my agency supervisor, told me the staffing coordinator texted her instead of talking to her and wouldn't give reasons why. Later she said a nurse there name Sheila, who tried to get in trouble a year ago and it didn't work, said I was talking about her, but wouldn't say what I said. I think it's so crazy and everyone there are very upset of my absence. I feel this is wrong, noone there didn't call or have meeting with me or I didn't have a voice, I feel an investigation should had been done because I was done totally wrong. I drove every day from Augusta Georgia to Aiken South Carolina faithfully and the bad thing about it is that I was loved by my patients, and their families and my coworkers and I wasn't done fairly

All the people I met were very nice and very professional at each of positions that they hold. Individually, Pam and and Stephanie held a very high standard for their positions!. My father is receiving excellent care right now, His improvement is a result of everyone's efforts.
