Easiest way to picking up passages is to get connected with the passenger over the phone. Ask them how long will take them to get out from the airport after arrived their flight. So you can directly picking up them from the entrance. Due to the traffic, they don't allow to wait for long at entrance. Other option is to park your vehicle. Either hourly parking or garage parking. Charges around $1 to $2 for 30 minutes to one hour. So you can go inside and pick up them, if you don't want to stay outside.

There are two parking areas one the open and outdoors and one that is a parking structure. I have only used the outdoor parking while picking up travelers it is marked short term as well, so I believe the structure is for long term. I'm​ sure you can call for more info. Everyone I have ever dealt with there was super nice and helpful.
