WE CAN ONLY HAVE A COMMUNITY SALE 2 TIMES A YEAR AND THEY GIVE YOU A 2 DAYS NOTICES NOT EVEN YOU HAVE TO BE ON FACEBOOK TO SEE THE ONE- MANAGEMENT HERE IS SO SO INCONSIDERATE pesticides you use on your lawn to get rid of weeds and insects are part of a $10 billion-a-year industry. But some doctors are becoming more concerned about your exposure to those chemicals, CBS News correspondent Vinita Nair reports. Joe Holland has been in the lawn care business for 30 years. His work requires him to be around a variety of chemicals, which is why he always tells his workers to take precautions. "You always have to protect yourself when you're using any chemicals, no matter the grade," Holland said. "You have to wear a long sleeve shirt, long pants." The chemicals his workers are using are known as herbicides and insecticides, designed to kill invasive plants and ward off bugs like mosquitoes. The most common chemicals used are glyphosate 2, 4-D, and permethrin. Dr. Phil Landrigan, professor of pediatrics at New York's Mount Sinai Hospital, studies the effects of these chemicals on humans, in particular children and pregnant women. "I think the fact that they have been around for a long time engenders a false sense of security," Landrigan said. This week, he presented his findings at a congressional briefing on the health risks of overexposure. "There is also concern that pesticides of all kinds can damage the developing nervous system and can result in learning disabilities in children, behavioral problems and possibly chronic diseases like Parkinson's," Landrigan said. The doctor insists that some pesticides can stay in your system for years. "Older pesticides like DDT can stay in the human body for years, even decades," Landrigan said. But Dr. Josh Bloom of the American Council of Science and Health says these chemicals have been used in the U.S. for at least 60 years and pose no risk. "There are so many hundreds of things more dangerous in everyday life than this that it is not even worth thinking about," Bloom said. New York is one of many states that requires landscapers to put down flags, warning residents that a lawn has been freshly treated. Joe Holland says his landscaping clients regularly ask about the chemicals he's using. The lack of Grace here at Greenview Estates is astonishing. They patrol the neighborhood on a constant basis just waiting to constrict more and more freedoms for the residents and their families. The latest constrant against the Greene/Sweeney family is beyond astonishing. To try to dictate how one is allowed to express their religious freedoms is not only appalling, but it is Illegal! Regardless if the other residents agree with their beliefs, we have all been given this inalienable right to express those religious freedoms. If Greenview is allowed to shut the voices of those expressing their Constitutional rights and freedoms, it is only a matter of time before your voices will be silenced as well. Even in the short amount of time I have been living here I have witnessed an increasing determination by Greenview Estates to remove and terminate the voices of those that speak contrary to their own opinions!

USED to be a nice place. Now it's ALL harassment and "give us your money" If you want a place where you DON'T matter - this is it. But - it DID - USED to be nice. Memories of the old days.. My advice - KEEP driving. They'll rip you off on a trailer, then snake you out of it eventually. You will get nothing but headache. Don't say we didn't warn ya. READ the reviews... PAY ATTENTION. You'll see. Good luck!!!

I used to live there and nothing was fair my mom couldn't even have a clothes rack outside to dry RUGS
Supposedly the only way to rent here is a lease-to-purchase contract. Call or stop in at the office for more info. We are under Four Seasons management now, however.
Yes you are. You can fish in the pond on the back of the property. Next to the dump area. It use to be a very nice place when it was family owned.
Possible lease
I pay a base fee of $480/month. I only have a single wide home. Then there's the water, sewer, & trash, which varies wildly. It usually adds about $20 to $45 or so. You're allowed one huge trash can per week. If you have more garbage than that, you now have to buy a sticker that starts at $20. If you have a boat, RV, or just more than 2 vehicles, you have to rent a spot down by the pond at $30/month. That area is locked at dusk & opened at 8 am or so. Except weekends apparently. It opens much later then.
