Don't do it! I have six cats, all with claws. Buy scratching posts and cardboard scratch boards and place the in the areas s/he sees to want to scratch. If you declaw and your cat accidentally gets out, it could be a death sentence. S/He would have no defense.
Hi Ms. Griffin, unfortunately we don't see birds here at Lawndale Vet. I would check out Downtown Greensboro Animal Hospital if you want someone to see your budgie.
You need to call them in the morning and find out.
A little less than $30/mo. the last time I checked, which was about 6 months ago.
