did the "lights and sights cruise"... bought the tickets online... came from boston on amtrak... got off the train and had brunch at "blue duck"... then got on the seajet for the cruise... this is the best boat cruise i have ever taken... at each sight they rotate the boat so everyone gets to see the sight... marvelous... they have an exposed deck at the top and two air conditioned decks below that... the weather and the ocean cooperated to make this a great day excursion... returned to boston on amtrak.

My husband and I enjoyed this cruise so much! The weather was perfect, the narrator was very easy to listen to and informative and the lighthouses were beautiful! Highly recommend!

We did the classic light house tours. It is an Informative tour. The light houses are beautiful. The views are stunning. They claim to offer gourmet food on the ship and that is not true. They offer some snacks and beverage and alcoholic beverages. They had hotdogs but ran out in the first 15 minutes of being on the ship.

Unless you are very lucky and get to park at the dock area, you need to park in garage across street. Only cost me $4 for the whole time I was gone and I actually got there more than an hour early. Even with pre purchased tickets, you need to pick up boarding pass at the small building behind the larger front building. You can wait for ferry under a canopy next to the gangplank. I was very surprised at how many people either arrived 5 minutes before departure or even in some cases at departure time. The boat did wait for them. My main goal was picture taking so I sat outside but take note, it is next to impossible to hear the announcer when sitting out there. No idea which lighthouse I was looking at, at any time. On the way back the captain really sped up so it got extremely windy outside so I moved inside. Even then I could barely hear any of the announcing. A flyer with each lighthouse in order of appearance would have been very helpful. Boat was clean and well maintained.

We went to during rain which stopped by then. Only cancels if its really rough waters or lighting..
I suggest you avoid disappointment and call them. Good question but I don’t have a definite answer for you. I didn’t see any dogs on my recent trip.
Even after a stormy, raw and wet day. We had smooth sailing. Very Enjoyable..
We bought ours the day of, I guess just depends on how busy they are
It think it was 2 or 2 and 1/2 hours
The latest Cruise starts at 2:15 that would be the closest you could get to the sun going down. There are sunset cruises with a dinner just web search that. This is an awesome Cruise.
It was $30.00 per adult and 15 per child. It was well worth it. There is a great restaurant to eat after and sit outside overlooking the water and boats on Neptune Avenue.
I think so but would recommend calling first to verify
