I love this shelter in Rock Cut State Park. There's a parking lot that's adjacent to the shelter, bathrooms close by, and a small play area for the kids. There is plenty of space for people to spread out and even open grassy areas to play soccer, volleyball, or kickball.

This is a great place to picnic before hitting the trails. There are outhouses, a play area and a large pavillion. There are many hiking trails nearby and one paved bike trail that will take you all the way to Perryville and 173. You see hammocks set up sometimes. This area is extremely beautiful.
