Egg Harbor Cafe is our #1 choice for breakfast, even though they aren't that close to us. They are relaxed and casual, yet upscale in all the right ways. The food is always great and they have the best pancakes anywhere! We're huge fans!

After many years of driving past when they were closed after 2 PM, we decided to wake up early and try it out. Both of our breakfasts were packed with so much flavor. I got the Barrington Eggs Benedict and my partner got the Aztec Omelette. We devoured our food in a matter of minutes. Nothing else was needed to add to the dish, it was delicious as is. Their famous strawberry orange juice was also delectable as it had pieces of strawberries mixed in. The service was great and fast. We are so glad that we decided to finally go!

Excellent food/atmosphere. It was a breath of fresh air to see smiles. I enjoyed our time spent with a quality product as well as servers. I have to say we have been looking for a decent place like this for awhile. Thank you for the experience to start our day.

Requiring Face-Diaper and proof of private medical procedures. Not acceptable. I wonder if I can have the manager bring out all the employees and we can ask if they have HIV.. or Hepatitis or any other contagious disease, past or present …Hello Michael, Thank you so much for taking the time to provide your feedback. We completely understand your frustration and are ourselves frustrated, as this mandate has put businesses like ours in an impossible situation. At Egg Harbor Café, we have always strived to follow the rules and do things the right way. In this particular situation, we have found ourselves in an incredibly tough spot, as the current mandate does not align with what we view as the right thing to do. The requirement for customers to be fully vaccinated to dine in with us is not something we ever would have implemented without it being required by mandate and punishable with fines and/or other consequences. With that being said, we made an attempt to be a law-abiding restaurant, but after a week of doing so we have re-evaluated our position based on feedback from our valued customers and amazing employees, statements from the communities we are in (regarding whether or not they will be enforcing the mandate), and seeing whether or not other nearby restaurants are enforcing the mandate. From what we’ve heard, the Village of Glenview and the City of Chicago are strictly enforcing the mandate and many other restaurants in those areas are following the orders, so we have decided that while this plays out in the courts we need to continue abiding by the mandate at our locations in The Glen (Glenview) and Streeterville (Chicago). However, our locations in Barrington, Arlington Heights, and Schaumburg are in a different situation and we have made the decision to stop enforcing this mandate in those locations. We are doing our best to navigate this mandate and are extremely hopeful that it will be short-lived. The last 22 months have been extremely difficult for restaurants in many different ways, and this mandate has certainly not helped as we try to rebuild. I want to assure you that we value you and have respect for your human rights and your personal decisions regarding vaccination. As I’ve mentioned, we have been put in a difficult position on a very divisive topic. At this point the best thing to do is to reach out to the Cook County Department of Public Health with your concerns. As these mandates are implemented by the Cook County Department of Public Health, complaints or questions should be directed to the County. Thank you, The Egg Harbor Café Leadership Team

Yes, they do. With lots of tables and seating area.
Absolutely
The parking lot and restaurant are all one level. No problem getting in. I am not sure if there are actual handicap buttons that will open the somewhat heavy doors, but always helpful people around.
630am-2pm 7 days a week. Enjoy!
No
