All of the items are well-packaged. Frozen items are still frozen upon arrival. Glass items arrive unbroken. And they do what they can to save shipping costs. Have had no problems in over 2 years of doing business.

I ordered a selection of haggis, white puding and meat pies on Tuesday night. They were at my door next day - well packed and still frozen. an hour later I was having one of my favourite meals. Delicicious - Thanks Scottish Gourmet Edit: I will add that I’m in a neighboring state so my delivery time is somewhat unique.

Ordered online and was a bit worried about what the food would look like when it got to me as I paid for the cheapest shipping. Box arrived packed with ice packs and food was great. A real taste of home.

Thawed meat pie should be reheated for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees. We really do not suggest reheating from frozen as the shells will get brittle and overbake if more than 25 minutes at 350. Sorry!
We practice all the Covid-19 guidelines outlined by the CDC. All customers entering the store must wear a mask, and are asked to use hand sanitizer upon entry. All employees are masked whenever they are in the building and also hand sanitize upon entry and all work with at least 6 feet or a barrier between them. We wipe down shared surfaces daily including all door handles and freezer doors touched by employees. We ask customers to stay in the front of the building so they are not exposed to employees or vice versa. One employee assists any store customers with their purchases. If there are multiple customers in the store front room, we ask them to maintain a social distance - but usually there is only one or two people together in our store at any one time. We also can bring any purchases to you in your car - and we do offer BOPIS - Buy Online-Pickup In Store. We call this a PICKUP order. You can use PICKUP as a promocode on the the website to reverse the shipping charges.
Sorry to say, we do not sell any Chivers products. All our marmalade is made in Scotland by small artisanal makers, Gallloway Lodge Preserves in the Borders and The Little Herb Farm in Fife. Chivers is a much bigger company in England and they sell all over the world. Anne at Scottish Gourmet USA
