When I found out I was moving to Greenwood, I was having problems finding an apartment for my wife and I. I called the Barrington and at first they said they were full, but then put me on hold and then told me someone had just submitted an intent to vacate. We took the apartment and were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The apartment was immaculate. The community is really great and when we did have a maintenance issue (rarely) they responded the same day. The website makes paying rent and entering maintenance requests seamless. If we were not buying a home we would not be leaving. I give Barrington Apartments the highest of recommendations.

I live here as well as my friends and Prior I was pet sitting a large breed, fully trained, pure bred champion bloodline, American kennel club registered dog and I have seen multiple white people with uncontrollable aggressive large breed mutts, I have been scolded for pet sitting this dog while no one else has been given any trouble, they don’t go off of actual AKC requirements they allow aggressive mixed breeds here, including golden doodles who have a ridiculously high bite record, but because they perceive white people In A non-threatening way initially so therefore they don’t perceive the dog to be threatening. How do they not allow actual AKC dogs? so unprofessional. Also racial profiling is a HUGE PROBLEM here. Continuous complaints about non existent drugs and loud music, (rarely even there) in efforts to have us evicted, not to mention being harassed by white neighbors and the complex takes their word and their side every time, bad experience.I’m also an influencer I have over 25k followers and my video review of barrington showing the social issues here actually went viral with over 2million views! go check it out to see for yourself!

this apartment complex is not for black people and they make it apparent. They allow white people to party do whatever they please here and give black people a hard time simply for existing. The employees in the office are kind off of first impression but with further interaction you will find them to be unfriendly and simply and blatantly racist. Awful front office as well. Rude, condescending and it’s incredible they hire people from the ghetto. It’s pretty in the outside and a nightmare from the inside
