Nice park, boat ramp and place to fish.
Heidi Sterling
Clean easy to park. Easy access to the beach.
Reilly JeckerByrne
It's good for a walk but not as much for a day trip. If you're planning on walking the inner trails wear bug spray!
Leslie Dutcher
Peaceful, quiet, calm , tranquil sunset walk.

Yes, but only between September 16 to March 30 and must be leashed.
It not open to vehicles until September 15th and i think it a 50$ permit. They inspect your vehicle so you wood need a jack wood for the jack among other things. Its more a local fishing thing but there are other beaches you can drive on during the summer. Your in a dry town that greedy for money. So no vehicles untill the off season.
The park is open access, but there is a toll to use the boat launch
Hope you enjoyed your stay
Yes definitely parking near the water. You can swim and fish. Swimming should done on the ocean side or the inside beach. The currents around and between the point are much to strong for swimming.
Only if your dogs like mosquitoes
from October 15 to April 15th only, and you have to have a beach permit
You can visit the park, but there aren't accommodations for staying overnight. It's a beach mostly, with some hiking trails
No
Yes it’s dog friendly. You can take your dog on the beach from about October to March, not during summer.
Yes. That’s the case
On the beach. Not on the dunes or hiking trails
You would have to put in somewhere else around the inlet which could be challenging for some. And also park somewhere else around the inlet. Unless it is offseason
Open 24/7. You can launch at night for free if you come in before they get there the next morning.
Yes but if the NJ government shuts down, The park will be closed starting sunday. They blocked the entrance last year during shut down.
