Nice State Park but also very busy!

We camped here. It was amazing. The beach, the facilities and the whole park was very clean and nice. Several places to see the lagoons and many birds to see. You have to go to the beach at night. Not just to see the stars but also to see many crabs that come out at night! The history of the whole place and the Spanish architecture was also very interesting. We will definitely go back to visit!

Beautiful! Beach tents allowed. Pets allowed on beach! So much better than Myrtle Beach in every way.

$8 entry fee is well worth it. Alligators, birds, hiking trails, boardwalk out into the "swamp" , undeveloped beach etc. And while you're at it pay the additional $2 and take the guided tour of the huge summer house that looks like a castle.

You have to rent a camp site and those vary.

Have you considered looking at their website?
I don't think there is a limit. We had 7 in our group on one site 2 weeks ago. You could call the main office, they are extremely helpful..
Not sure where the "T5" site is, but this park is beautiful to walk through. Yes, you can unload your gear if you are tent camping easily. And parking is never an issue here with dedicated locations.
Yes
We were there this week. I think it was around $40. Great park.
Yes
Campground is between salt marsh, and ocean. The ocean is approximately 150 yards from edge of campground. There are photos and drone footage available if you search for them. You are not camping 'on the beach'. Go to Okracoke Island if you want to camp on the beach.
It was over 50 dollars a night in the summer and that was just water and electricity. Rates went up from last year. I think Winter rates might be cheaper. Limit on stay was 14 days.
Called Huntington State today. They are allowed year round.
