My daughter has been riding at Thunderbay for 3 years now and we have been beyond happy. TB was my daughter’s first formal riding lessons and the staff has been wonderful. She has advanced several levels since she started and TB offers a variety of horses for all different abilities. The staff take good care of their horses and riders. We love TB!

We love riding at Thunderbay!! This has been a perfect introductory experience to the equestrian world for my daughter! The instructors are so kind and patient, and the curriculum is detailed, age appropriate, and fully encompasses care of the animal as well as riding technique and horsemanship! I would highly recommend this facility to everyone who is looking to have the full horseback experience and to develop true horsemanship. We recently relocated to the area and finding an equestrian center turned out to be a difficult task. Most places were hard to communicate with and would not respond my the inquiries. At Thunderbay Bay the communication process was excellent. They worked with our schedule and even through they didn't have an availability at the moment the administrative person took my number and called me as promised two days later with some options for us. She did everything she could to accommodate us. Any questions we have had since we had enrolled were addressed immediately and to our full satisfaction. The lessons exceeded our expectations as well. The two trainers are very attentive to the kids. They constantly are giving feedback and are teaching them how to improve. Most importantly the philosophy of the academy is to nurture love of horses and teach the riders how to develop understanding and connection with them.
