Today was my first visit in two years because of the pandemic and it was like nothing changed. The librarians are just as nice and helpful as before. The location is as neat and as tidy as it has always been. I was able to renew my library card with ease, and I also picked up some films to watch before leaving. The Waxhaw Library is a great location within the network of Union County libraries.

We love this small local library. They can get us books from the other Union county libraries and the people here are so awesome. They have great programs for kids and adults.

Their Traveling Library is superb!! The staff is over the top --- friendly, helpful, very accommodating, patient and offers s very needful service for us handicapped senior citizens. I do look forward to their visit each month. Also, whomever answers the phone for the other libraries in Monroe, Indian Trail, Waxhaw are very helpful and friendly. Marvelous staff. Thank you.

I love the small town feel of the library. Although it does lack selections, I love the staff & all this library has to offer. If they don't have the books you want, the Monroe branch will have it. I am anxious to see the new Waxhaw library when it's complete. I also love the new location b/c it's closer to my house & you can avoid the downtown traffic, pedestrians, & the train.

Hi Kathy, all of the Summer Learning programs are listed on our website here: https://library.booksite.com/7309/nl/?list=CNL1&group=EB119 The only in-person programming at Waxhaw this summer is storytime but there are a lot of hybrid and live virtual programs that you can attend from anywhere.
