Very nice place to launch a kayak or boat but the new lot is almost entirely trailer parking - only a couple of car spots. 2 Police cars waiting when we paddled back and warned of a fine. We parked 3 cars to a trailer spot and hardly took much parking lot. Didn’t see any signs about a fine but saw a post here that says there’s one that says only trailers.

Yes, it is open. Just like with any other boat landing, be cautious, know your boats requirements & be mindful of your surroundings. It does seem like parking for trucks/boat trailers fills up fast over there but there have been many parking across the street as well.
