They do great work here saving and caring for animals. I just wish there was more we could do to help them help the fur babies!

Wonderful caring staff!

The Humane Society of Concord is a great place to visit and meet your new best friend. The staff and volunteers are so friendly and help each person and family find just the right dog for them. Every dog in this shelter is loved and treated with kindness and respect; it is easy to see they are well cared for. I am so blessed to have found my very best buddy there and appreciate all the help and kindness I was shown. Thanks

I feel that I was judged over the phone by the staff. Yes, my toddlers were screaming in the background. But that shouldn't be an issue. I was asked unnecessary questions: such as where was I calling from. Where do I live. (All I was trying to do was schedule an appt to see a puppy on their site.) They stated they couldn't adopt an unaltered (not spayed or neutered) dog to me because I lived in Davidson. Even though I reside literally 20 mins from their location. Im located on the Davidson side thats right outside of concord. They would not allow me to speak with the director who stated she would not adopt to me. They said that each location makes their own rules regarding adoptions. The reason they said they wouldnt adopt to me was because they didnt know if i would bring the puppy back to their spay and neuter place for a "morning appt in the future". So weird. It sucks because my toddlers really fell in love with one of their dogs on the site. 0/10 would not recommend due to how I was treated.

They have dogs of all ages, including puppies
You need to take them there. Their cost efficient and love the animals
Yes
We try to keep it as up to date as possible...
Yes but they must first complete an orientation
They have several puppies and some great adult dogs just adopted another last week that makes 4 in 4 years all amazing! I think fee is 185
Call the shelter...ask for Judy...I know they have extra from time to time
Our dog was 180 included him netured n microchipped with all shots. Check the website for cats.
Have you made an attempt to find the owner? You could bring him by and we can scan for a chip and make a decision at that point.
We are not a shelter that euthanized.
Have you tried Carolina Value Pet? They have many services they offer at a very low cost and they're mobile.
What kind of puppy? How old? Any vaccines?
We don’t turn down any breed that isn’t aggressive if we have space. We are extremely full right now.

Cabarrus Spay Neuter Clinic
We are not a spay neuter clinic. You can reach the clinic at 704-784-6304
We do not have the resources to pay private consumer vet bills. Maybe give our office a call and talk to us about what is going on with your animal to see if we can offer any suggestion.
Thanks no one, would have to to Charlotte on the bus, thank you

Are they vaccinated before you adopt
The humane society, aka Princeton's Meow also has cats for adoption at the Petsmart near Target. All cats are vaccinated and spayed or neutered and ready for adoption. A good place to check them out.
No
Please call Animal Control and ask for a welfare check. 704-920-3000. At a minimum they can tell if the dog is properly being cared for.
How very sad. Thank you for letting us know.
Yea but they are not open today
Did you find a foster? A 4 mo old kitten was left at my house and I am trying to find someone to take him. He is very sweet and listens. I am not at home but 2 days a week and he needs to go to a loving home. He is an indoor kitten.
Hi. We do not offer vaccine or other vet services to the public.
Call them
Go there & ask.
Yes you can. You have to fill out paperwork though & have pictures of your yard.
We do adoptions every day except Wednesday.
You can adopt at any time as long as the Humane Society is open.
We do not.
We pull our animals from AC facilities. We don’t generally take them in from the public.
We might consider it. The minimum age is 18 to work with us.
I would imagine you adopted the dog from Rowan County. They should have told you specifically where you should go. However, i could recommend either the Cabarrus Spay Neuter Clinic or Whiskers and Paws. Both are reasonably priced and both are very good.
You should take it to either Animal control where they have access to Veterinary services or to a vet who may take it as a good sam drop off where it would get quicker Care. We do not intake from the public as we are not licensed as a veterinary clinic. We contract out our vet services. Petsmart does not i take from the public either.
Kari-ana Carter What kind of puppies do you have
yes, I adopted an older dog who was not neutered. The provided me with a time/place to take him for a neutering appointment at no cost.
