I went to the neighborhood goodwill store today after being at the eye doctor and having my eyes dilated started to feel better and figured I would just stop in and waste some time until I felt well enough to drive home. I purchased A large item and it had to be put into several boxes and IS if somebody could help carry it out to my car and I was like the 1st car in the parking lot and the store was pretty well empty. The lady at the register was very kind and packed the stuff small enough so I could carry it out but the point was there are people working in the back including then and nobody could take this out for me knowing that my eyesight was bothering me and I am not a Spring chicken anymore. All the other goodwills that I go to a very nice kind and courteous and try to help I am very disappointed in this goodwill as is the closest to me and they have done the least as far as The manage ment goes To help and accommodate elderly. Any other time would not be a problem for me to handle what I had purchase but today was the exception and I was really upset that Nobody came to help me put it in the car and on top of that they would not even let me take the buggy out to the car I had to carry each Box by hand and there were 4 of them. I love the goodwill and enjoy shopping there all the time for everything but I really was quite upset and hurt the way I was treated today By the people that work in the back And handle all the pricing and the putting out of items. The cashier was a sweet as she could be and tried to help but she could not leave her register to help me. I have not seen any other good will that would not help to get your item in the car if it was cumbersome and large except this one Now in Moore County.

Most Goodwills have become overpriced for the past decade. This one is no exception. You can find good deals here on occasion if you are patient, but you also need to be careful not to pay more than new retail prices for used items. Fair overall.

I was just there this week Wed.as a matter of fact. So I'd say not true.
Ou can just leave it outside the door, no big deal.
I would think that they would. They are only open from noon till 6pm on Sunday
To my knowledge... GFC in Moore County "Does Not" have a volunteer program. But, if you want to work there, visit the store and speak with a manager. Everyone is very nice at our "SP" location.
They will accept most anything you bring in.
