DONT BUY A NEW CAR OVER THE WEEKEND IF YOU LIVE HERE. Can’t get a pass from the office because they are closed and the towing company decides they want to tow even after telling them you live there and the office will not care nor will they help even though it is there fault there is no system for getting a pass while they aren’t there besides parking in visitor (which there are 0 close by) that is half way across the complex (which is actually very unsafe). This place was nice while it lasted (which isn’t long)

The management for this property hiked rent by nearly 50% over the two years I lived there. When I had to move out due to the increased cost they hit me with absurd cleaning fees that added up to hundreds of dollars despite the fact that I spent days cleaning the apartment. This included numerous individual fees to clean things like the bathroom cabinet for $12 or the range hood for $10 and the washer/dryer for $24. I cleaned each of these items and took very good care of the apartment overall. My apartment also flooded while I lived there due to a burst water heater, which they refused to replace and instead simply patched. EDIT: I came in as they requested and their "resolution" was to show photos of some lint on the dryer and few small items while threatening to send me to collection. I should also note that I already paid an additional $2,500 in early termination fees.

Beware of this place! I lived here for a year and it was awful. Management can care less about your maintenance issues and they drag their feet on fixing things properly. They charge you for everything at move out! Don't fall for the express clean deal they have it's bs! It is definitely not worth the money for the hassles it includes! I just wish someone warned me! Run and run fast to a better community that cares!

After having the run around with several apartments for months, it warmed my heart to find Colonial Village at Deerfield where I was welcomed and assisted by an amazing staff who was patient with me. The whole process was smooth and I moved in and feel safe every day and not when I am in my home. Everyone in the neighborhood is so friendly. I am so happy to be leasing with Colonial Village and I can say I would not have it any other way.

Every community handles resident communication independently, but a good place to start is the MAA site and the Resident Login portal. Not only can residents pay rent online, they can submit and track service requests, check out online deals, and stay connected to news and events in their community.
Some of our communities have dog wash stations, while others feature Bark Parks and other dog walking amenities. Please refer to the community page you’re interested in for a full list of pet amenities.
MAA is dedicated to the more efficient use of our natural resources. We employ smart irrigation practices at most of our communities. These include implementing weather-based control systems, low-flow irrigation devices and the use of reclaimed and well water. We also use drought-tolerant plant material in our landscaping that requires less water and incorporate hardscaping to reduce turf area. Our highest irrigation use properties undergo annual efficiency audits. Since 2012, we have saved almost 100 million gallons in our landscaping program as a result of our conservation efforts. Many of our communities install low-flow plumbing fixtures in our kitchens and baths and we monitor community water use throughout the year to spot opportunities for improvement.
