Just would like to thank Brenda at the Statesboro branch for being extremely kind, and helpful. She made me feel extremely at ease...with my problem. Such a delightful experience.

I've finally found a gem in the government bureaucracy! Mrs Thomas at the Statesboro Social Security office is the most courteous and efficient government employee I've ever dealt with! Thank you Mrs Thomas, you made my day.

Tracy was OUTSTANDING!!! I have worked in healthcare over 40years and never spoken with a more helpful individual. If only all agencies took after the Social Security Office in Statesboro, everyone would get the help they need & deserve.

Not sure how they do it at that office but typically it is just a walk in as long as you bring your documentation.
It depends on if you get Social Security or SSI if you get Social Security off of your parents it's when you turn 18 you can get an extension until the age of 19 after the age of 19 the Medicaid will cut off the benefit will cut off as far as you working it will lower your check but not delete the Medicaid unless you get a substantial amount of pay
